I am native from France where I studied. I did my undergraduate studies in Economics at the University of Burgundy, in Dijon, and completed my Master degree in Economic Modeling and my PhD in Economics at the University of Bordeaux. I worked for the research department of the International Labour Office in Geneva (CH), as a post-doc at the University of Amsterdam (NL) where I am still a research fellow, as a research visitor at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver (CA) and at the University of Oregon (US), and as an Assistant Professor in Macroeconomics at the University of Utrecht (NL).  I then became Senior Economist in the Financial Market Department at the Bank of Canada, in Ottawa, where I am now Principal Researcher.
